We are all faced with challenges in our lives. Therapy can provide a much needed support to help move you through some of life’s difficulties.

Have you found yourself having difficulty before or after a big life transition (ie: marriage, retirement, divorce, loss of a loved one, graduating college or becoming a parent, etc), feeling a lack of motivation? Experiencing depression or anxiety?
Are you experiencing difficulties in your current relationship? Or trying to heal from a loss?
Could you use some help with the demands of parenting, or some clarity around your child's behaviors?

Therapy can help with these and many other of life’s hurdles

How I can help:

I have an understanding of human development that allows me to look at issues both from the here and now of where you are at, but also from a “bottom -up” perspective that can offer insight into how your past patterns have led you to your present.

Somatic psychotherapy is one of my passions and I often use this perspective of the mind body connection to look at and work with whatever my client’s bring to explore.  This can include the use of guided self awareness and visualization exercises, movement and sound.

I also include other modalities in my work, like expressive art therapy, play therapy, sand tray and of course more traditional talk therapy.

My experience has included helping people from preschool to retirement ages with a myriad of challenges from communication issues to trauma. I know that one method of work does not fit all people and this is why I incorporate different styles of counseling into my practice.
